Form 2441 - Paid Amount Equal to Qualified Expenses

On your IRS Form 2441: Child and Dependent Care Expenses, the amount listed as "paid to providers" must equal the amount entered as qualified expenses for your dependent(s) plus any dependent care benefits provided by the employer.
To access Form 2441 and verify the amount paid to your care provider(s):
Locate the relevant return, then click Open Return in the Actions column for that return.
In the left navigation bar, click Federal.
In the Federal Quick Q&A Topics panel, click Child and Dependent Care.
Create a new Form 2441 or open an existing one, then continue with the interview process until you reach the How much did you pay Care Provider for dependent care in 2023? screen.
Enter the relevant amount in the Amount paid in 2024 field. This amount should equal your qualified child and dependent care expenses plus the dependent care benefits reported in Box 10 of your Form W-2.
