If you claimed the First-Time Homebuyer credit in a previous year, you can access your account information using the IRS First-Time Homebuyer Credit Account Look-up tool. This will provide you with your total credit amount, repayment amount, and other information.

To enter repayment information in the TaxAct^® program:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click Federal).
2. Click the Taxes dropdown, then click Repayment of first-time homebuyer credit.
3. Continue with the interview process to enter your information.
