Ensuring that TaxAct's emails reach your inbox involves adding their email address to your safe sender list or address book.


Here's how to do this across various email clients:

Outlook 2010 Icon

Outlook 2010/2013:

  1. In the "Home" tab, click "Junk" in the "Delete" group.

  2. Select "Junk E-mail Options."

  3. Navigate to the "Safe Senders" tab.

  4. Click "Add" and enter the sender's email address.

  5. Click "OK" to confirm.

Outlook 2016 Icon

Outlook 2016:

  1. In the "Home" tab, click "Junk" in the "Delete" group.

  2. Select "Junk E-mail Options."

  3. Navigate to the "Safe Senders" tab.

  4. Click "Add" and enter the sender's email address.

  5. Click "OK" to confirm.

Outlook 365

Office 365 (Web Version):

  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select "View all Outlook settings."

  3. Navigate to "Mail" > "Junk email."

  4. Under "Safe senders and domains," click "Add."

  5. Enter the sender's email address and press Enter.

  6. Click "Save."


Window Live Icon

Windows Live/Hotmail:

  1. Click the gear icon and choose "More mail settings."

  2. Under "Preventing junk email," select "Safe and blocked senders."

  3. Click "Safe senders."

  4. Enter the sender's email address and click "Add to list."


Yahoo Mail Icon

Yahoo! Mail:

  1. Open an email from the sender.

  2. Hover over the sender's name and click "Add to contacts."

  3. Enter any additional information and click "Save."


Gmail Icon

Gmail:

  1. Open an email from the sender.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the reply button.

  3. Select "Add [Sender] to Contacts list."

  4. To ensure emails appear in the "Primary" tab, drag an email to the "Primary" tab and confirm when prompted.


Apple Mail Icon

Apple Mail:

  1. Open an email from the sender.

  2. Right-click the sender's email address.

  3. Choose "Add to Contacts" or "Add to VIPs."


Iphone or Ipad Icon

Apple iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open email from desired sender.

  2. Tap the sender's name in the "From" line.

  3. Choose "Create New Contact."

  4. Tap "Done."


Android Icon

Android (Samsung, Google Nexus, etc.):

  1. Open the email in your default email app.

  2. Tap the sender's avatar or icon.

  3. Select "Add to contacts" or "Create new contact."

  4. Save the contact.
