New Jersey - State Disability, Unemployment, and Family Leave Insurance
1

The mandatory contributions for New Jersey Unemployment Insurance/Workforce Development/Supplemental Workforce Funds (UI/WF/SWF), Disability Insurance (DI) and Family Leave Insurance (FLI) can be entered in the Federal Q&A on the screen titled Wages - W-2 - Other Information, or in the W-2 Quick Entry, under Other Box 14 Entries not previously entered above.

TaxAct® will transfer these amounts to New Jersey Form NJ-2450 Employee's Claim For Credit to compute any credit allowed on the New Jersey NJ-1040 due to excess withholdings.

In order to receive a credit for excess withholding of these contributions, you must have had the mandatory contributions withheld from more than one employer. The credit is only computed when amounts withheld exceed certain, state-specified amounts for Unemployment Insurance/Workforce Development/Supplemental Workforce Funds, Disability Insurance, and Family Leave Insurance. Consult the most current version of New Jersey Form NJ-2450 for details.
