The TaxAct® program imports limited information from the PDF file of your prior year return in order to ensure our $100k Accuracy Guarantee and Maximum Refund Guarantee. Data from a prior year return PDF that was created in a different tax program will be different from a TaxAct prior year return PDF, and TaxAct will not import data that does not meet our import criteria. If you import a TaxAct prior year return PDF, some data might not be transferred because it will have changed.
