To receive your verification code as a text message on your mobile phone (standard text rates apply):

1. Sign in to your online TaxAct Account.
2. Click the My Preferences tile.
   
3. In the How do you prefer to receive your verification code? section, select Mobile Phone to receive verification codes as a text on your phone.

If you prefer to use the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device, click Verify with Google Authenticator instead.
