Verification codes are valid for a limited amount of time. If your code expires, go to our Verification Code - I Need One or I No Longer Have Access to Email Account FAQ
If you resend the code, the previous code you requested becomes invalid. Sometimes it takes a minute or so for your code to arrive, so wait at least a few minutes before you click Resend Code. If you request multiple codes, be sure to enter the most recent code received.
To avoid a mistake when typing your verification code, try copying and pasting the code into the verification code box.
