Use the following instructions to preview a PDF copy of your Form 1040 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return in the TaxAct program.

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal to expand, then click Summary. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then click Federal.
2. Continue with the interview process until you reach the screen titled Filing, then click Paper.
3. On the screen titled Paper Filing - Printing Your Return, click Print Return, then click Print in the window that appears to view a PDF of your return.

Note. The return will be watermarked "View Only" and cannot be paper-filed. To print a copy without the watermark, you may do so from the Print Center or from the Filing menu after the product fees have been processed.
