How to Upgrade Your TaxAct Product

To upgrade to a different TaxAct product:

Online Navigation Instructions
  1. From within your TaxAct return (Online), click View Upgrade Options.
  2. Click Upgrade below the product you want to upgrade to, and you don't have to pay until you file.
Desktop Navigation Instructions
  1. From within your TaxAct return (Desktop), click Online in the upper menu bar, then click Order Upgraded Program.
  2. Continue with the on-screen instructions to buy the upgrade.
  3. After you place the order, you can download and install your new product. If you need help, go to our Downloading and Installing TaxAct FAQ.
