Who are the tax experts?

Our team of tax experts come with years of experience. You can be confident in knowing they bring their expertise to your tax filings.

How many times can I talk to a tax expert?

There is no limit to the number of times you can talk with our tax experts during your filing experience, through 10/31/2024.

How does the quick review work?

When you’re close to filing, you request a call from a tax expert to help answer your final questions and walk you through the e-filing process. You may ask the expert to briefly go over sections you’re dealing with for the first time or that you find confusing. Please note that the expert is unable to view the documents you used to prepare your return and the review is not in-depth.

Can I chat online with a tax expert?

Not at this time. When you request help, one of our experts will call you and may ask you to share your screen.

Can I add Xpert Assist to a prior year return?

At this time, Xpert Assist is available only for the current tax year’s return.
