WebView2 Troubleshooting

  1. 1.Log in to machine as AdminUser

    2.Navigate to the Download the WebView2 Runtime page on Microsoft’s website and select x64 under Evergreen Standalone Installer

    3.Open up a file explorer window (You can click on the yellow folder on your taskbar, or follow the instructions below).

        1.Press the Windows Key + R.

        2.Type "explorer" and hit enter.

    4.Click on "This PC" and then click on "Downloads"

    5.Locate the WebView2 download file. The file name will be "MicrosoftEdgeWebView2RuntimeInstallerX64."

    6.Right click on the WebView2 download file. Click on "Run as administrator" from the list of options.

Note: To check which version of WebView you are running, click on your Windows start icon at bottom of your screen, then click Settings > Apps > Default Apps. Type "WebView" in the search box under Apps & Features, and it should list which version you are running.
