Desktop Sign In:

1. On your desktop, double-click the TaxAct Program icon to start the program.
2. On the screen titled Sign In, click the field below Username, and type your username. Click the field below Password, and type your password.
3. Click the Checkbox next to Remember this device (if it is not already checked).
4. Click Next. If Remember this device was not already checked when the screen appeared, you will have to enter a verification code sent to your email or phone to complete your Sign In.

Online Sign In:

1. Click Sign In at the top-right of the TaxAct Webpage or go directly to the Sign In page.
2. On the screen titled Sign In, click the field below Username, and type your username. Click the field below Password, and type your password.
3. If you are using a private device, click the Checkbox next to Remember this device (if it is not already checked).
4. Click Next. If Remember this device was not already checked when the screen appeared, you will have to enter a verification code sent to your email or phone to complete your Sign In.
