Electronic Filing (e-filing) goes through TaxAct® to be transmitted to the IRS. The e-filing module is included in the TaxAct Professional Editions.
E-filing with TaxAct is available for Federal 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120, 1041, and 990 returns. State e-filing is available for those states that assess personal income tax and for many business and estate and trust returns. You must have an IRS-verified Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) to submit returns professionally through TaxAct. If you don't have an EFIN, or if you have not yet sent IRS EFIN verification to TaxAct, see the related links for more information.
