Payment Methods for TaxAct Product Fees

TaxAct offers several ways to pay for both Online and Desktop products.

Online Product Fees

You can pay using:

• Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express).
• Deduction from your federal or state refund (if eligible).

Refund Deduction Eligibility:

• You must choose direct deposit for your refund.
• Your federal refund must be at least $50 greater than the TaxAct and Republic Bank processing fees.

Desktop Product Fees

The only accepted payment method for purchasing the downloadable TaxAct program is a Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express). Electronic filing fees are included in the purchase.
