Update Email Address or Mobile Phone Number

To update your email address:

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct Account online.
  2. Click My Preferences, then click Manage next to your email address.
  3. Continue with the on-screen steps to update your email address.

To update your mobile phone number:

  1. Sign in to your TaxAct Account online.
  2. Click My Preferences, then click Manage next to your mobile phone number.
  3. Continue with the on-screen steps to update your mobile phone number.

If you cannot sign into your TaxAct Account or do not know your username and password, you can still update your email and/or phone number by following the steps to Recover your account.
