Absolutely love the ease of use for this web software. Even the self-help is helpful. I've only had to call support twice in 20 years so TaxAct has an excellent track record and I've gotten my refund direct deposited within 10 business days of doing my taxes.

We have used Tax Act for quite a few years and are extremely satisfied. You do have to know a little about taxes to select the correct items. We usually had an offer for a discount, but unfortunately didn't receive one this year.

I continue to be happy with TaxAct. The menu driven approach is easy to use and has provided me with 3 years of returns that are quickly accepted by IRS and NY. My only challenge has been locating the data entry for 529 contributions. These provide a tax deduction in NY. The online chat led me to a diligent helper who found the path. Much appreciated quickly reaching a skilled person instead of being frustrated by AI with limited imagination and knowledge.
